Born and raised in Omaha, NE I have always been an artist.  My mom says when I was 2 ½ years old I did my first drawing; it was Kermit the Frog and I have been drawing ever since.

I had no idea what I was going to do with my life but I knew it was going to include art.  At the age of 19, I was already working two jobs and I was sick of it. I walked into American Tattoo and asked if they did apprenticeships. Three weeks later I got a call. I studied under Ira Handlon. It was an “old school” style apprenticeship. I continued working there for 9 years.

I am now here at Big Brain and loving it. I feel fortunate to have worked with such a diverse group of people. Some of my main influences include Filip Leu, Joe Capobianco, Corey Kruger, Kore Flatmo, and Grime but there are still so many good tattooers that no one knows.
